INCREASING BUSINESS BROUGHT ON BY INCREASED TRAFFIC ON ROUTE 66 RESULTED IN THE EXPANSION OF THE ORIGINAL GAS STATION TO A MULTI-BAY SERVICE STATION, ONLY TO FAIL AS A BUSINESS WHEN THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY SUPPLANTED THE OLD ROAD.
