OKSHPO SHARE is the Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office’s online project submission portal. The portal was designed to serve as a central repository for Section 106 submissions, Oklahoma Landmarks Inventory, and the National Register of Historic Places with plans for future expansion.
Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (NHPA) requires federal agencies to consider the effects on historic properties of projects they carry out, assist, fund, permit, license, or approve throughout the country. If a federal or federally-assisted project has the potential to affect historic properties, a Section 106 review will take place.
The following applies to the Section 106 process:
The Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service are not responsible for any damages or delays that may result from unauthorized access by previous employees or designees due to a lack of request for removal of users by the organization or agency. To request removal of a specific user who should no longer have access to Section 106 projects for your organization or agency, please send a request on official letterhead to Kristina Wyckoff at section106@history.ok.gov. All requests will be completed within 48 business hours.
